01.) What makes Purple Pebble toys special?
Purple Pebble toys were pioneers in the space of creating toys without stuffing. Additionally, our toys were intentionally created without small pieces, squeakers or dye for reasons of health and safety.
02.) I have seen other toys without stuffing. How do Purple Pebble toys compare?
After introducing our collection of thoughtfully-designed toys into the marketplace, other companies have promoted products using the stuffing-free concept, but instead of using durable, safe, and “beefy” material allowing dogs with powerful jaws to really have fun for a while without destroying the toy, they use the same plush material as the rest of their toys only minus the stuffing; so really, their stuffing-free toys are just shells that look a bit like road-kill.
Further, other companies frequently have squeakers of various kinds in these easy-to-destroy toys which defeats the purpose of safety.
Lastly, Purple Pebble toys are crafted by hand in the US with material made in the US, and other companies’ toys are mass-produced in Chinese factories with Chinese materials.
03.) Are Purple Pebble toys indestructible?
No. There is NO toy or anything for that matter, that can truly be called “indestructible.” There are dogs that chew through dry wall and metal crate bars and if they really want to they could chew through our toys, as well. We have found that Purple Pebble toys do last many times longer than other soft toys on the market.
04.) I have a dog with powerful jaws who likes to chew things up. Can Purple Pebble toys handle this?
Purple Pebble toys were designed with large breeds and powerful jaws in mind. We feel that all dogs deserve to have something soft and cuddly, but there need be different, more durable options in order to safely do this. We understand the issue of giving something soft only to see it destroyed seconds later, worrying about our dog’s safety and then feeling compelled to go out and buy another toy, starting the endless cycle all over again.
Purple Pebble toys will last longer than other toys on the market and are veterinarian-approved for safety. Further, they come in a variety of beefy shapes for interactive play or to satisfy mouthing for a lone dog.
05.) Are Purple Pebble toys good for outdoor use?
Not so much. They are a fuzzy material that will pick up dirt and debris and then when it comes back into the house will bring all of that dirt in with it. Although our toys are easy wash/quick dry and stain-resistant, it is recommended to keep Purple Pebble toys indoors.
06.) Don’t I have to worry about the light color of to the material of Purple Pebble Toys?
No. Purple Pebble toys are easy to clean. Just throw them in the wash on the cold or warm setting and tumble dry low or air dry and they will be ready for play again in no time. They are durable and stain-resistant and hold up in the laundry beautifully.
07.) When I first received my Purple Pebble toys it was smooth and after I washed it once the texture changed to be “pilly.” Is this a defect?
No. Purple Pebble toys will change texture to that resembling an actual lamb’s wool. It is expected to do that.
08.) How long will it take to get my order?
Purple Pebble toys typically ship within 1-3 days from the date the order was placed.
09.) What is your return policy?
Purple pebble will replace product for material or manufacturing defects ONLY. All sales are final.
